Pemko #EV80D Door Shoe Sweep, U Shaped Eco-Vinyl with .625" Quadruple Fin Seal

Door Shoe Sweeps can be applied to a door to prevent light, moisture, dust, drafts, air, sound, smoke and fire from infiltrating the gap under doors. The seal runs along the bottom of the door, rather than on the outside edge so installation may require removing the door. However, it creates a stronger and sturdier seal than a standard door bottom seal and is generally less visible.

Key features of the door shoe include:

Dual-Durometer Casing: A Dual Durometer fuses two materials of different physical properties into one uniform cross section and is commonly used to combine a rigid material for strength to a softer material, for a flexible function. In this case, the Door Shoe is made of heavy duty, thick Eco-V which ensures a strong, stable product, while the fins are more flexible to allow for easy movement of the door.

Seal: Made of Eco-V material, comparable to vinyl, however it is an eco-friendlier version which exceeds performance of standard PVC Vinyl. The seal can seal up to .625" and is very flexible to ensure great sealing properties with minimal closing force and to conform to surface irregularities. Vinyl retains its shape through temperatures above -4° up to 122° F.

Door Shoe: Door Shoe is compatible with 1.75" doors and has minimal effect on the appearance of the door. It protects the bottom of the door from damage, thereby extending the life of the door.

Installation: This product can be applied with glue or screws (not included). Product does not come supplied with screw holes.
