     Falcon 1490 Series Medium Duty Concealed Vertical Rod Touchbar:

    Functions:

    • 1491: Exit Device with 9970 Dummy Trim. Entrance by trim when actuating bar is locked down. 
    • 1492: Exit Device with Night Latch Cylinder - Entrance on ingress when latchbolt is retracted by key.
    • 1493: Exit Device with Hold Back Cylinder - Entrance on ingress when latchbolt is retracted by key or set in a retracted position by key.
    • 1494: Exit Device with Night Latch Cylinder and 9970 Door Pull - Entrance on ingress by trim when latchbolt is retracted by key.
    • 1495: Exit Device with Hold Back Cylinder and 9970 Door Pull - Entrance on ingress by trim when latchbolt is retracted by key or set in a retracted position by key.
    • 1498: Dummy Exit Device

    Materials: Built with rugged steel operating mechanisms and durable aluminum push bars and end caps.

    Handing: Specify Right Hand Reverse or Left Hand Reverse. Both handed labels are provided standard. To determine door handing see our How To Determine Door Handing and Swing. 

    Door Type: For aluminum doors. Not recommended for use on wood doors. (Specify if door material other than Aluminum.) 

    Door Size: 84" Height x 25-3/4" Minimum Width, Non-EL. Available for doors up to 36", 42" or 48". Device is easily cut to size in the field during installation.  See product specs tab below to determine length needed.

    Door Thickness: 1-3/4" Thick Doors. Specify in order comments if other than 1-3/4" thick.

    Door Stile Thickness: 1-3/4" Thick Door Stile, minimum

    Cylinder Type: Rim cylinder supplied standard with NL and HB options is C keyway. 

    Cylinder Finish: Furnished in DC35 finish unless otherwise specified. Available in DC13, US28 and DC35 Finishes. To specify alternate finish, add to order commments before completing purchase. 

    Strikes: PB48 top.

    Dogging feature: Quarter turn hex dogging standard. No threaded parts to wear out.

    Projections: 2-3/4" maximum, 2" when dogged. Pushbar height is 3".

    Fasteners: All mounting screws are concealed. Uses all machine screws for device and latch.

    End caps: Durable zinc die cast, powder coated

    Vertical rods: 7' standard, extension rods available for doors 7' - 10'. Select door height above and extension rods will be furnished according to length.

    ANSI: Certified ANSI A156.3 2001 Grade 1 Standards.
