Wooster’s highly popular Supergrit + NITEGLOW stair treads and nosings contain abrasive anti-slip filler over half the tread surface and NITEGLOW glow-in-the-dark abrasive filler covering the second half of the surface. Tread is applied into new concrete construction, secured by a sure hold anchor.

The NITEGLOW® strip allows clear visibility of step edge in darkness. Abrasive filler is available in 11 different colors.

    Properties of Base and Abrasive Filler:

    • Environmental Resistance: corrosion resistant and heat treated
    • Anti-Slip Surface: 65% virgin grain Aluminum Oxide (AL203) abrasive. 

    • Anchors: Extruded aluminum base is designed with Sure-hold anchor which extends into concrete step.

    NITEGLOW® Specifications:

    NITEGLOW® filler will be one 1.00" thick stripe of abrasive filler and three thinner stripes of abrasive filler in the desired color. The NITEGLOW® stripe will be the one closer to the step edge.

    Nosings for NEW construction can be furnished with a protective tape cover to keeps tread free of dirt during construction. 
This tape should be removed after the stairs are installed. Tape coverings entail a small additional charge per lineal foot. Please contact us  or call 845- 388- 1300 to order.
