EMPowered 2 Design: EMpowered 2 is a design-focused electronic lock solution that can integrate with the latest in smart home technology. Customizable features personalize your lock to work the way you want: Volume settings, inside indicator light, one-touch locking, lockout/vacation mode, auto lock, and languages: English, Spanish, or French. It fits a door thickness of up to 2-1/4". This feature is only available in the Single Cylinder option.

Function: 

• Emtek 8479 Single Cylinder: The single-cylinder option is a common option for residential use. It comes with a keyway on the exterior and a thumb-turn lock on the interior.

Backset: The backset is the distance from the edge of the door to the center of the 2-1/8" borehole. The two common backsets for residential locks are 2-3/8” or 2-3/4" backset (both included).

Door Thickness: This entry set fits a standard door thickness of 1-3/4" -  21/8" thick. Specify in order comments if your door is thicker.
