The HES-Folger Adam 742-75 fire-rated electric strike works with all brands of major mortise and cylindrical locksets up to a 3/4" latchbolt throw in hollow metal frame applications. This strike features an industrial-grade design for extreme, heavy-duty, and high abuse applications. It is the one electric strike to choose when uncertain which lockset one may encounter.     Electric strikes are electromechanical door keepers that act as a powerful security by holding the lockbolt in place. This HES-Folger Adam 742-75 electric strike works with all brands of major mortise and cylindrical locksets up to a 3/4" latchbolt throw in hollow metal frame applications.

    • Fail Secure: In the event of a power outage the door stays locked. (Power is applied to unlock the door.)
    • Fail Safe: In the event of a power outage the door gets unlocked. (Power is applied to lock the door.)

    Please note: Operation in fail safe mode removes the fire-rating of the electric strike.

    Please Note: When using the latchbolt and locking cam monitor feature with a 1/2" (12.7 mm) or 5/8" (15.9 mm) keeper latchbolt, detection may be dependent on the door gap.

    Certification: This strike surpasses BHMA/ANSI Grade 1 requirements for a high level of quality and security.

    HES Folger Adam 742-75 is designed to work with a variety of mortise locks without deadbolts, including the Schlage L9000 and Yale 8800 without relocating the strike prep in the frame. 

    Please note: The HES-Folger Adam 742-75 will require relocation of the center line when used with moritse locks. Please contact us or call our office at 845-388-1300 regarding use with the Best 40 series.

    Operation: Upon receiving an electrical signal, the electric strike releases its hold on the latch which enables the door to be opened from the outside without the need to operate the doorknob. Electric strikes are used in conjunction with mechanical locksets and a card reader, keypad or button to provide additional security, traffic control and convenience of remote operation.
