Pemko #294 Door Gasket, .875" Aluminum Casing with Eco-V (Vinyl) Fin Seal

This gasketing weatherstrip is applied along the header and jamb of a door frame to seal the gaps along the perimeter of the door. It is fitted with a high quality Eco-V Fin seal which prevents infiltration of fire, smoke, sound, drafts and light. Casing is available in seven finishes and is custom cut to size.

Seal: This Door Gaskets seal is made of high quality Eco-V (Vinyl). Eco-V is comparable to vinyl, though it is a newer, greener and more environmentally friendly version. It surpasses the quality and durability of standard vinyl, resulting in a longer service life and less need for replacement.

The fin seal is designed for openings with gaps of 1/16", but can seal gaps up to the depth of its seal. The protruding fins are great for doors with slight surface irregularities. The flexibility compensates for misalignment of the door, due to poor installation or natural warping and shifting.

Casing: The gasketing seal is housed in a high quality aluminum casing which is surface mounted to the stop of the door. The casing is punched with elongated slots which allow for easy adjustments while installing. Casing has dimensions of .875" x .25" (7/8" x 1/4").

Mounting: This door gasket is available with standard screw holes. Additional self-adhesive backing, which aids in installation, is available for the aluminum mill and dark bronze anodized finishes. Select from options above.

Compliance: This door gasket is fire rated and complies with UL GreenGuard Gold Requirements which is useful in achieving LEED certification.
