High Sound Performance System for Single Door - STC 44

This system combines a Perimeter Door Seal, Doorway Threshold and Automatic Door Bottom to create a high performance sound seal for a single metal or wooden door. The system has been successfully tested against air, light, smoke, fire and sound to demonstrate the effectiveness of these products. All tests were performed with nationally accepted standards by independent labs (not by the manufacturer).

Heavy Duty Adjustable Door Gasket (Z770): This heavy duty door gasket is applied as a stop around the perimeter of the door frame. When the door is closed, the solid neoprene seal is compressed to prevent infiltration of extraneous elements. In case of natural warping or shifting of the door, the seal is easily adjusted with a screwdriver to ensure a proper seal at all times.

Rabbeted Threshold with Neoprene Gasket (Z565): This doorway threshold is applied under the door to fill door-to-floor gaps. It is fitted with an enhanced solid neoprene seal which is compressed against the door when it is closed. The gasket has an extruded bulb and finger design which compensates for any misalignment of the door, due to natural shifting, warping or poor installation, ensuring a constant, continuous seal. The flat top surface of the threshold is compatible with an automatic door bottom.

Heavy Duty Automatic Door Bottom with Sponge Neoprene Seal (Z361): The bottom of the door gets sealed with an automatic door bottom. The sponge neoprene seal is automatically lowered with a high quality mechanism when the door is closed. This ensures a tight seal at the bottom of doors, which can adapt to floor surface changes over time. The seal rests on the flat surface of the threshold to ensure the tightest seal possible.
