Wooden Meeting stiles greatly contribute to a room’s décor and style. Now you can keep the look without compromising on sealing capabilities with this wood meeting stile. The wood overlaps the other door in the pair and provides excellent closure of the midline gap. Wood is natural, unfinished, and clear stain grade Oak or Fir Wood. Custom cut to size.

    Close up the midline gap between double doors with an aesthetic wooden meeting stile. The overlapping design reduces the passage of unwanted elements into your home or office.

    Dimensions:  Wood Astragal is designed for 1.375” thick in-swing double  doors. The Wood has a depth of .625” with a small extension overlapping the front of both doors (see product specs). 

    Wood: Housing has a pretty colonial style shape and comes in either Fir Wood or Oak Wood. Wood is natural, clear, stain grade, with no knots on visible surfaces. Wood is supplied unfinished to allow for custom matching.

    • Fir has superior strength-to-weight ratio, great nail-holding ability and elasticity for resistance to such natural forces as wind, earthquakes and storms. 
    • Oak is tough, fine-grained, resistant to rot, and extremely strong and durable.

    Optional Flush Bolt: This model is compatible for use with our 6" Mortised Flush Bolt or 7" Mortised Flush Bolt.
