Rockwood's 481MP aluminum and steel Heavy Duty Mounting Plate is used in conjunction with R481 and R481H to securely anchor them in high traffic areas. Available finishes are powder coated to match the finish of the door stop.

    Rockwood's 481MP heavy duty mounting plate is for use together with Heavy Duty Floor Mounted Stops R481 and R481H to allow secure anchorage in high traffic areas.

    Material: 3/8" Aluminum and Steel plate

    Installation: Requires 3-1/2" diameter hole 3-1/2" deep. Fill with quick drying cement and set anchor plate flush to finished floor with hole pattern at the appropriate location for the door stop to interface with the door surface.

    Once the plate is mounted, it's a simple step to mount the door stop onto it. You want to be sure to keep the bumper far enough from the wall that the door makes contact with the bumper prior to the knob/lever hitting the wall.
