This Two Stage, No-Slip Stair Nosing with a 2.00" depth is a safe and a smart product that reduces slipping without reducing staircase aesthetics. 

Nosing is designed for installation in newly set steel pan or poured concrete stairs, and can come with disposable wood insert for use during construction phase for a fresh, clean appearance.

    Wooster's Spectra Two Stage Nosing WP-RN2SP Product Specifications:

    • Premium quality construction
    • For newly set steel pan or poured concrete stairs
    • Two Stage design permits upper piece of nosing to be easily replaced if damaged, with no costly demolition of stairs
    • Disposable wood insert for use during construction phase, if desired
    • Heavy pedestrian use.

    Abrasive Filler:

    • Contains approximately 60% virgin grain Aluminum Oxide abrasive.
    • Extends over the curved front edge of nosing
    • Is securely bonded to the extruded aluminum base.
    • Color will extend uniformly throughout the filler.

    Two Stage Installation:

    Nosing is installed into freshly poured steel pan stairs or formed concrete steps. See Installation tab to the right for more information.

    Construction Stage: The base with sure hold anchors and disposable wood insert is set into the fresh concrete. The wood insert is secured with screws until after the construction phase.

    Final Stage: After construction, wood is replaced with the anti-slip inserts for fresh, clean appearance and without the muck and wear of construction. Nosings can easily  be replaced if damaged, without costly demolition of stairs.

    When no wood insert is ordered: Nosings for NEW construction can be furnished with a protective tape cover to keeps tread free of dirt during construction. 
This tape should be removed after the stairs are installed. Tape coverings entail a small additional charge per lineal foot. Please contact us or call 845-388-1300 to order.
