Falcon 24-V narrow stile exit device with surface vertical rod with Night Latch, Dummy Trim and Blank Escutcheon Functions. Grade 1, made with extruded aluminum construction to deliver greater strength and impact resistance. Available in a variety of finishes, trims and sizes.

    Falcon Heavy-Duty 24-V Series Narrow Stile Surface Vertical Rod Exit Device for high traffic panic and fire-rated applications.

    Options: 

    Functions and Trims: Large trim selection available with options for functions including: Night Latch, Dummy Trim, Blank Escutcheon and Standard Cylinder. See options tab below for full selection.

    Cylinder: All functions are provided less cylinder. To purchase cylinders please contact us or call our office at 845-388-1300. 

    Finishes: Available in a choice of 9 finishes options: US28, US32D, 313AN, US26D, US26, US32, US10, US4 and US3. US32D finish will be provided with trims in US15 finish.

    Device Size: Choose from 3 size options; For door up to 24", 36" (33 21/32" device) or 48" (45 5/8" device) wide. Device can be easily cut to size on the field. 

    Applications: For high traffic applications including offices, retail, healthcare, churches and educational facilities. Can be used on exterior, interior, new construction and retro-fit applications.

    Handing: Specify Right Hand Reverse or Left Hand Reverse. Both handed labels are provided standard. To determine door handing see our How To Determine Door Handing and Swing. 

    Design: Narrow stile device for application versatility in high-traffic installation. Includes a surface vertical rod and a streamlined touch bar design. 

    Latchbolt: Top stainless steel, top latch 3/4" throw, bottom bolt 1/2" throw. Deadlocking latchbolt standard with top latch. Latch retention top latch and bottom square bolt. 3788 strike top, 2130 flush strike bottom. 

    Door Type: For metal or wood doors.   

    Door Height: Available for doors up to : 7', 8', 9' and 10'. Select Door Height above and extension rods will be furnished to length.

    Mounting Height: Furnished to length based on a 40" horizontal CL from finished floor. Change to centerline should be specified in the order comments section before completing purchase.

    Projections: 2 3/4" maximum, 2" dogged.

    Stile:  

    • 24-V: 1 3/4" minimum when used in pairs.
    • F-24-V: 2 1/8" minimum when used in pairs.

    Strikes: 3788 top strike is surface applied. 2130 bottom strike is mortised into floor.

    Dogging Feature: Half turn hex dogging standard on 24-V. No threaded parts to wear out.

    Fasteners: All mounting screws are concealed. On 24-V, sheet metal screws standard, machine screws are available. On F-24-V, all machine screws standard. Sex bolts are recommended when device is used with hollow core wood, composite or light gauge hollow metal doors.

    UL Listed: "A" label (3 hr.) - double egress - 8' x 10' 90 min. same egress - 8' x 10'. Wood door: 20 min. 8' x 10', 90 min. 8' x 9'. Consult door manufacturer for maximum rating. 

    ANSI: Certified ANSI A156.3-2001 grade 1 standards.

    Electric Functions: Can be interfaced with building security systems. Latch retraction, security monitoring, delayed egress and exit alarm available (EL fail-secure only). Subject to code requirements, state and local.
