This .375 (3/8") PemkoPrene™ Bulb Weatherstrip is designed specifically for tighter frames. It is applied with an adhesive to the perimeter of the doorframe to create a seal against sound, smoke, fire, weather and dirt. It is crafted from PemkoPrene™, a thermo-plastic elastomer which remains flexible in extreme temperatures. Available in two different colors and sizes.

    This PemkoPrene™ Bulb Weatherstrip is designed to be applied around the perimeter of a doorframe to create a barrier against sound, smoke, fire, weather and dirt. It also provides weather protection and reduces heat loss. It is available in two different colors that will blend unobtrusively into any structure and is available in two different sizes; choose from dropdown options above. If needed, it can easily be resized with household scissors.

    PemkoPrene: This perimeter gasketing is crafted from PemkoPrene™, a high quality thermo-plastic elastomer. This long lasting product has excellent flexibility that will not impede with door operation and has a high resistance to compression set, particularly at elevated temperatures. It remains flexible in temperatures ranging from -40°F and 250°F, ensuring superior performance in all circumstances. Additionally this weatherstrip has outstanding ozone resistance, making it ideal for an exterior door.

    Bulb Design: The bulb design ensures a low closing force. It begins compressing at 3/16" (.188”) and compress to seal gaps as small as 1/16" (.0625”).

    Installation: This gasket is has a self-adhesive backing, providing quick and easy installation. It is designed for tighter frames and can be applied to both the stop or frame of the door. This adhesive gasket has a limited shelf life. Product must be used within 6 months of purchase and must be stored within 50ºF and 100ºF.
