Air Tight System for Single Door

This system combines a Perimeter Door Seal, Doorway Threshold and Automatic Door Bottom to create an airtight system for a single door, preventing air and water infiltration.

Door Gasket with Neoprene Ring Seal (Z328): The premiter door seal has an aluminum or bronze retainer which holds a durable solid neorpene ring seal. When the door is closed, the seal is compressed against the face of the door to form an airtight seal and prevent infiltration of water, dust, dirt, drafts, fire and smoke.

Heavy Duty Automatic Door Bottom with Sponge Neoprene Seal (Z361): The bottom of the door gets sealed with an automatic door bottom. The sponge neorpene seal is automatically lowered with a high quality mechanism when the door is closed. This ensures a tight seal at the bottom of doors, which can adapt to floor surface changes over time.

Doorway Threshold with Smooth Top (Z164): The threshold finishes off the system when the automatic door bottom makes contact with the threshold to ensure the best possible seal and to compensate for larger gaps under doors.

The system has been successfully tested to demonstrate the effectiveness of the system products. All tests were performed with nationally accepted standards by independent labs (not by the manufacturer).

Air flow pressure applied to doors: .30 inches of water = 150 Pa (pascal) = 35 miles / hr., Produced a leakage rate of: .17 CFM (Cubic Feet per Minute) = .96 CMH / LM (Cubic Meter per Hour / Liner Meter of Crack)
