    This floor plate support is made to provided support and stability for our Floor Cover Plates. Cover plates are generally applied over expansion joints between flooring to prevent warping of the floor during seasonal temperature changes.

    This support is designed for plates that are applied on a 1/2" raised surface. Cover plates require support every 4" on center, on welded joints, or as needed to ensure a safe product that will not buckle and warp through usage.

    These supports work really well with our 1/2" Height Floor Plate Trim.

    Drilling: Drilling along the centerline can be supplied at no extra cost, select from the options above. If customized drilling locations or size is required a template will need to be provided. Please contact us or call us at 845-388-1300.

    A Note on Finishes: Aluminum Mill Finish is plain smooth metal as it comes from the mill, without a coating. Bronze is a mill finish, sometimes referred to as Architectural Bronze. It is a solid bronze piece, which increases longevity and aesthetics, thus the large difference in price. It gets darker in color with time when exposed to the environment. Anodizing is an electrolytic process that applies a corrosion-resistant coating to the aluminum for longer wear and color maintenance.
