A half threshold is a simple way to correct a floor offset between rooms and eliminate the tripping hazard associated with differences in floor surface heights. This half threshold is ADA Compliant and fills offsets of .5" and has a 3" width. Available in aluminum variations and is custom cut to size.

    Half Thresholds corrects offsets in floors and removes the tripping hazards associated with changes in floor surface heights. This model is often used when a threshold is required to meet carpet on one side.

    Finish: Available in various different finishes; choose from the dropdown options above

    Installation: Installation instructions and screws provided. Screws are colored to coordinate with door hardware. If threshold is being drilled into concrete, an Expansion Anchor is recommended.

    Drilling: Threshold is drilled along the center line for easy installation

    A perfect solution to a problem threshold

    We replaced an exterior patio door and had an awkward threshold transition between the new door and the old sill plate. The profile of this molding seemed like a perfect fit from the dimensional drawings, and it was! It fits beautifully and installed in just a few minutes.
