This Latching Panic Exit with Thermal Break and Seal is designed to be used with a surface applied vertical rod exit device and as a door bumper with a double seal at the bottom of doors. It has a 4.125" width and a height clearance of .5". Available with thermo, vinyl or brush seal and is custom cut to size.

    Threshold is fitted with a black rigid polypropylene break which reduces heat loss and prevents frost build up on the interior surface of the saddle. The threshold design is compatible with a surface applied vertical rod exit device.

    Available Seals: It can be purchased with either a thermo, vinyl and pile brush seal which compresses against the door to form a tight seal.

    Thermo vs. Vinyl Seal: The thermo seal is a higher grade rubber than its vinyl counterpart and has a greater acoustic performance rating which creates a stronger soundproof seal. It has better performance than vinyl in extreme cold or hot temperature, and is recommended for locations with extreme weather. The vinyl seal wears quicker than thermo, so for best performance, apply vinyl in areas with light traffic abuse.

    Installation: Installation Guide and screws provided. Screws are colored to coordinate with saddle. If threshold is being drilled into concrete, an Expansion Anchor is recommended.
