This Zero #383FS surface mounted aluminum meeting stile utilizes Intumet™ intumescent material which expands when heated to prevent the spreading of fire. Compression of the fire-stop and neoprene seals with the active door closes the gap between a pair of doors from the infiltration of fire, smoke, sound, light, drafts and insects. Available in two finishes and is custom cut to size.

    This surface mounted aluminum meeting stile effectively seals the gap between a pair of doors from the infiltration of fire, smoke, sound, light, drafts and insects. Two seals, one neoprene and one Intumet™, an intumescent material that expands when heated to prevent the spreading of fire, compress with the active door for very effective gap closure,

    The surface mounted application permits for a no-hassle installation process. The 1.625” aluminum casing is attached with screws to one of the doors, with the fire-stop seal placed centered between the doors. The neoprene lip seal extends over the opposite door for optimum closure (see product specs).

    Door Gasket is fitted with FS3003 INTUMET™ material. For more information, see Understanding Intumescent ­­­­Fire Stop Material.

    Installation screws provided. Screws are colored to blend unobtrusively into casing.
