Rockwood 585 Heavy Duty Surface Bolt

Rockwood's 585 Heavy Duty Surface Bolt is designed to hold your door in place when the lever is manually extended. This product can be mounted in a horizontal position or alternatively in a vertical position and locks in either direction. Bolt is made of steel and is available in Satin Chrome finish. This product can be used on any type of door. See below for dimensions and options.

UL listed for use on inactive leaf of a pair of 3 hour labeled fire doors
Includes universal top strike and mortise bottom strike
Locks in both the up and down/right and left positions.
Bolt locks automatically when manually thrown-can be released only by pressing knob toward door while retracting
Can be used on any type of door
Accomodates padlock-3/8" D padlock hole

Fasteners: Bolt: 4 each-1/4-20 x 2-1/4" FHMS; 4 each-1/4-20 x 1-5/8" sex bolts. Included.
Strike: 2 each-#14 x 2-1/2" FH SMS with 2 plastic anchors.; 2 each-1/4-20 x 1" FH MS, with 2 1/4-20 lead anchors. Included.
