Pemko #19125 Safety Stair Tread Plate, Aluminum or PemKote™, 3" Depth, .25" Riser

Safety Floor Treads provide a detectable warning for stairs and protect the edge of the stair from wear. Various aluminum finishes available, including PemKote™ Non-slip finish which is great for outdoor applications. Treads have a 3” depth, .25” riser and length is custom cut.

Safety Floor Treads provide a detectable warning for stairs and protects the edges from wear, which ensures a safe environment. Surface is grooved to create traction and prevent tripping. Available in aluminum variations, including PemKote™ Non-slip finish.

To ensure no tripping hazard is present, treads must be applied butted against a 1/4" height floor surface, such as tiles.

PemKote™ Finish: PemKote™ Non-Slip surface is a rugged abrasive finish of nickel-aluminum composite. It is an aesthetically pleasing skid resistant coating with extremely high bond strength and excellent resistance to oxidation. It provides safety in environments used by youths and people with disabilities. It is particularly recommended for thresholds placed in exterior conditions where moisture may be present.

Installation screws provided. Screws are colored to blend unobtrusively with casing.

Drilling: Drilling is recommended for PemKote™ finish, as it is really difficult to drill through this coating. Plates are drilled at standard locations if specified above in options. For custom drilling holes and locations a template will need to be supplied. Please contact us or call us at 845-388-1300 for details.
