Threshold Elevators raise the height of a threshold to make a custom height threshold or to apply a standard flat threshold as a transitional threshold. This elevator has a sloped body which extends the threshold and raises the threshold .25". Available in various aluminum finishes and is custom cut to size.

    Threshold Elevators raise the height of a threshold to create a custom height threshold or to apply a standard flat threshold as a transitional threshold. It is great for retrofit construction, for example, if a new flooring with a slightly higher surface is being applied on one side of a door you can raise the threshold on one side without having to replace the full threshold. Can also raise a threshold slightly if clearance between door a threshold expands due to shifts over time.

    Design: This Threshold Elevator raises threshold by .25". It has a sloped body which creates a smooth transition between the elevator and threshold and extends the width of the threshold by approximately .75" per side that it's applied to.

    Installation: It is not necessary to screw the threshold elevator to the floor. Once the utility threshold is properly installed, the elevator will be secured and held in place by the weight of the threshold it supports.
