This model is a metal and plastic flush lockset with an included deadbolt for aluminum and hollow metal sliding doors. The flushlock combines the time tested and field proven MS1847 Deadlock with a slide button. The lock allows doors to slide freely past other sliding units or stationary panels, with no projecting handles to prevent doors from being stacked in a wall pocket.     Adams Rite flushbolt door locks provide greater key control and are designed to prevent accidental locking of the inactive leaf of paired doors. This metal and plastic flush lockset with an included deadbolt is for aluminum and hollow metal sliding doors.

    The flushlock includes an anti lift lock mechanism - MS1848-09 (radius ends) or MS1848-10 (square ends), and a set of 2 keys for the 4431 model only.

    Lockset: This flushlock comes in a choice of locksets:

    • 4430: Lockset without cylinder
    • 4431: Lockset with cylinder - flush mounted, key in, five pin cylinder with Schlage "C" keyway that projects or retracts the bolt 

    Please note, the cylinder is available in keyed different only. Keyed alike cylinders are available by special order in quantity of 50 locksets, please contact us for details and pricing.

    • 4432: Dummy lockset

    Escutcheons: Molded ABS resin plastic. Deeply recessed finger pull on both sides. Fits same cutout as metal 4189, 4190 Flush Locksets.

    Backset: Distance from the face of the lock to the escutcheon and cylinder centerline.

    Finish: Satin black

    Operation: The lockset is operated from the inside by a vertical slide button that projects or retracts the deadlock bolt, set flush in the deeply recessed finger pull. The lock mechanism (latching action unavailable) is the time tested and field proven MS1847 Deadlock that features the adjustable, self-protecting bolt. The lock allows doors to slide freely past other sliding units or stationary panels, with no projecting handles to prevent doors from being stacked in a wall pocket.
