    The product is an exit only device, no entry from outside. Additional trims can be added separately.

    • Materials:
      • Active pushbar and back bar made of extruded aluminum, available in choice of finishes.

      • Non-Handed
    • Stile Width:
      • Minimum 2" stile. Fits ultranarrow, narrow, medium and wide stile aluminum doors.
    • Projection:
      • 2-1/2" when fully projected
      • 1-3/4" when dogged.
    • Dogging:
      • Standard dogging with 3/16” hex key.
    • Fasteners
      • Device mounted using standard type ‘F’ self-tapping screws. Rivnuts are provided for the P8700 only.
    • Strike:
      • Horizontally adjustable strike assembly body made of Zamak 5 with hardened steel roller. Standard strike assembly suitable for centering doors in 4" jamb. Strike plate adjusts 1/4" horizontally.

    Please note that the alarm option cannot be combined with any other device or monitoring option.

    Device Options: 

    • Motorized Latch Retraction (MLR) - Incorporates a powerful and efficient motor to unlatch the exit device while providing a quieter operation than the solenoid option. For more details, see our MLR Device Option Installation.
    • Cylinder Dogging ( non-fire rated devices only )  - a cylinder installed where a key must be inserted. As the key is turned, the cam on the cylinder turns and engages the dogging mechanism to hold the latchbolt retracted. 

    Please note, the MLR Device option is supported by a 1 year electro mechanical warranty. When powered by an Adams Rite PS-SE power supply the 1 year warranty is upgraded to 5 years.

    Monitoring Options: 

    • Single Switch
    • Dual Switch

    Mounted in the exit device pushbar on the hinge end, the switch can be used to activate a signal light, horn, monitor or other devices. For more details, see our Monitoring Option Installation.

    Please note, 30" exit devices cannot accommodate monitoring options, except when ordered in conjunction with the MLR device option.
