Falcon W561 Classroom Lock Deadlocking latch bolt by levers/knobs. Outside lever/knob is locked by key in outside lever/knob. Inside lever/knob is always free. W Series Locks are provided with a door thickness of 1-3/8"-1-3/4", backset 2-3/4", and 3-3/8" rose. Variety of finishes,  lever and knob styles are available.

Trim: Roses are heavy wrought brass or bronze, installed over steel rose inserts which are through-bolted through door. 

Rose Dimensions:  

• Standard rose diameter: 3-3/8" 
• Small rose diameter: 2 -9/16" 

Material: Parts constructed of brass or cold formed steel, zinc plated and dichromated for rust resistance. Springs are stainless steel.

Screws: Furnished with combination screws for use in wood or metal doors and frames.

Abrasive strip levers: Dane, and Quantum levers are available with an abrasive strip along the inside length of the lever to identify entrances that may be to areas hazardous to the handicapped. (Can be purchased through our office.)

Keys: Two, Nickel silver cut keys per lock

Keyway: Falcon G keyway standard on conventional cylinder. "A" Keyway standard for IC-available for purchase through our office.

Cylinder / Core: 

• Housing and plugs machined from Solid Brass, Springs are stainless steel. 
• 6-Pin Chambers, Keyed 5-Pin, Falcon G keyway, Keyed different (KD), 
• Cylinder assemblies removable to rekey. 
• Drilled with 6-pin chambers, pinned in 5. Pinning in 6 chambers available through our office.

Interchangeable Cores:  The W Series accepts standard 6-pin cylinders available from Falcon, as well as Schlage, Corbin-Russwin, Yale and Sargent. (Can be purchased through our office.)

• Latches have selfadjusting fronts to accommodate beveled or flat doors.

Strike: 1-1/4" x 4-7/8", ANSI, Square curved lip corner, no box

Installation: 

• Lock chassis secured to door by two screws which pass through a steel rose insert inside and thread directly into the outer rose mounting assembly, and two screws that screw into the chassis assembly.

• All locks meet ANSI/BHMA A156.2, Series 4000, Grade 2 test requirements for key-in-lever locksets.
• Locksets are ULListed (3 hour A Label)
