    Norton's 55 Series Checkmate is a standard-duty surface-mounted stop and holder. It is designed for medium-traffic, medium-weight interior doors. Available in different finishes.

    Features:

    • Moderate traffic, medium weight door applications
    • Standard duty construction
    • Surface mounted
    • Slide track arm
    • For use on interior, single acting doors
    • Maximum opening is 110 degrees
    • Standard door thickness is 1 3/4"
    • Hold open and stop functions
    • Heavy shock absorber spring provides 5-7 degrees compression before dead stop
    • Durable slide block and shock block
    • Complete screw pack with thru-bolts for door, plus wood and machine screws for frame
    • Torx® screws optional for security applications, heavy-duty units should be considered for high security applications
    • Hanging means other than standard butts or offset pivots require special templating and pricing; consult factory
    • 3/4" square channel
