    This gasketing weatherstrip is applied along the header and jamb of a door frame to seal the gaps along the perimeter of the door. It is fitted with a high quality, thick, sponge seal which prevents infiltration of fire, smoke, sound, drafts and light. Casing is available in Clear Anodized Aluminum finish. Includes 1 pc 36" and 2 pcs 84".

    Key Features of this Product Include:

    Seal: Seal material is available in Sponge EPDM. EPDM is comparable to Sponge Neoprene, but is more ecofriendly and delivers overall better performance. Specifically, it has great sound control properties and is resistant to solvents. See Understanding Rubber Seals for more information.

    The gasket has a tickness of .25", which is thicker than our other standard models, ensuring a stable seal. Gasket is designed to seal gaps of 1/16", however it can seal up the depth of its seal.

    Casing: The gasketing seal is housed in a high quality aluminum anodized casing which is surface mounted to the stop of the door. The casing is punched with elongated slots which allow for easy adjustments while installing. Casing has dimensions of .56" x .25" (9/16" x 1/4").

    Compliance: This door gasket is rated for Fire, Smoke, Sound and Air Infiltration.
