This Zero #77 custom bulkhead threshold provides superior traffic protection for both edges of an elevated platform or step of at least 2” in height and whose width falls anywhere from 5.75” - 16”. This four part system is made of durable aluminum, and all parts are notched to allow for quick and easy installation. Length is custom cut to size.

How to determine plate width: First, measure the total width of the bulkhead platform.

  • If using .75"W #Z106 Bulkhead Rest subtract 3.75” from total
  • If using 3.0"W #Z105 Bulkhead Rest subtract 6" from total

    This four part custom bulkhead threshold is comprised of four components. Components can also be purchased separately by selecting links:

    • #Z105 or #Z106: 3" or .75" W Bulkhead Rest
    • #6700: 2" - 10" W Adjustable Threshold Plate
    • #Z475: Adjustable Stop for Threshold
    • #105: 3" W Bulkhead Rest

    Bulkehad Dimensions:

    • Height: Minimum 2"
    • Widths: 5.75" - 16" can be purchased through our site. Widths up to 22" are available through our office
    • Length: Custom cut up to 104". Larger lengths are available through our office.
    • Door Clearance: Requires minimum .5" clearance from floor surface.

    Door Stop: Door stop is fitted with an enhanced Solid Neoprene seal which seal the gap at the door bottom. The extruded finger design compensates for slight door misalignment due to improper installation or natural warping.

    Floor Plate: Floor plate is made of heavy duty aluminum with a grooved, non-slip surface. For additional traction it can be purchased with epoxy abrasives bonded into the grooves. The tread provides a coefficient of friction of 1.02 dry and 0.98 wet to comply with ADA, OSHA and most local building codes requirements.

    Installation: All components are grooved for quick, no welding required installation. Installation screws are provided.

    Drilling: Components are supplied undrilled, unless otherwise specified and template with holes location is provided. Please CTNC us or call us at 845-388-1200 to request custom drilling.
