    This Brush gasket is installed around the perimeter of the door to seal the head and jamb gaps, which reduces infiltration of light, wind, air, snow and rain, and prevents penetration of smoke. A good seal reduces drafts and energy loss and can significantly reduce energy costs. This brush gasket is made of high quality material that will ensure a superior product for long-lasting usage.

    The 45º retainer is made of anodized aluminum with a convenient snap-on cover that deters vandalism and conceals mounting screws for an enhanced aesthetic appearance. The angled flange ensures the best contact between the seal and the door surface. The .313" brush conforms well to contours on the door face. The bristles remain flexible in weather as low as -40ºF and up to +400ºF, making them an ideal choice for an external door. The retainer is punched with elongated slots for easy adjustment during installation.

    Nylon Brush is made of densely compressed type 6 nylon bristles for a superior seal. Soft Brush is made of very flexible, soft fibers, ideal for applications with delicate surfaces.

    Please Note: The ends of the casing is cut in a straight cut, not a mitered edge.

    Installation instructions and screws provided. Screws are colored to blend unobtrusively with casing.

    Brush Inserts: Clear Anodized is supplied with a gray insert and Dark Bronze Anodized is supplied with a black insert.
