This Door Bottom Sweep is designed to be Mortised or Underside Mounted to wooden doors. It is comprised of an aluminum track which is fitted with a solid EPDM Bulb seal. Available in various finishes and is custom cut to size.

This door bottom sweep is effective in creating a seal to prevent infiltration of drafts, moisture, dust, insects and light through the gap under doors.

Key Features Include:

Seal: This Door Bottom is fitted with an EPDM Bulb Seal. EPDM is comparable to Neoprene Rubber but is more environmentally friendly and has overall better performance than neoprene. EPDM has great soundproofing properties and is resistant to solvents.

The seal has great compression properties, is very flexible in all weather conditions and conforms to surface irregularities.

Casing: This Door Bottom Track is made of high quality Aluminum with Anodized Variations. It is designed for wooden doors.

It can be applied fully mortised or mounted to the underside of the door. If applied full mortised, it can fill gaps up to .25”. It requires a cutout in the door of .75" x .188". When applied underside mounted it can fill gaps up to .438”.

The fully mortised aspect of this door bottom is great for high end designer doors, luxury hotels and condo units that prefer their doors maintain their clean unobtrusive look.

Installation Guide and screws provided. Screws are colored to coordinate with casing.
