    Concealed Vertical Rod Exit Device with two point latching for high traffic installations.

    Product Options:

    Applications: Concealed vertical rod exit device with traditional crossbar design and two point latching with patented center slide for ease of adjustment.

    Functions and Trims: Large trim selection available with options for functions including: Night Latch, Dummy Trim, Blank Escutcheon and Standard Cylinder. See options tab for full selection.

    Cylinder: All functions are provided less cylinder. To purchase cylinders please contact us or call our office at 845-388-1300.

    Handing: Specify Right Hand Reverse (RHR) or Left Hand Reverse (LHR). To determine door handing see our How To Determine Door Handing and Swing. 

    Finishes: Available in finishes; US4, US10, SP313, US32D, US26D, US3, US26, US32.

    Materials:

    • Arms- made with forged brass, aluminum and investment cast stainless steel.
    • Crossbars- 1" O.D., brass, bronze and stainless steel. Reinforced crossbars available.
    • Latch bolt - Top stainless steel, 3/4" throw. Bottom stainless steel bolt, 1/2" throw.
    • Center case and working parts- Center case is pressure die cast aluminum with heavy wrought, forged, investment cast and sintered metal parts.
    • Latch Retention hold: Standard in top latch.

    Strikes: 4188 mortised top; 2130 flush strike bottom. 2126A and 4155 strike bottom available through our office.

    Dogging Feature: 1/2" turn hex dogging standard. No threaded parts to wear out. Rim Cylinder supplied (at additional cost) for functions requiring cylinder dogging.

    Door Thickness: 1 3/4" thick doors. Specify thickness if other than 1 3/4".

    Door Widths: For hollow metal doors up to 4'0" x 1-3/4" full flush with 5/8" high frame stop unless specified otherwise. 

    Mounting Height: Furnished to length based on 40 1/4" horizontal centerline to finished floor. Variations to centerline must be specified in order comments. Please select height in tabs above and extension rods will be furnished to length. 

    Projections: 5" maximum, 4" dogged.

    Stock Sizes: 4'0" standard

    Stile: 3" minimum when used in pairs (6" minimum on wood doors).

    Electric Function: Can be interfaced with building security systems. Lock/unlock and security monitoring available.

    Fasteners: All mounting screws are concealed. Sheet metal screws standard for device. All machine screws can be ordered. Sex bolts may be ordered to use with hollow core wood, composite or light gauge hollow metal.

    Certifications:

    • Meets ANSI A156.3-2001 Grade 1 standard.
    • F-XX-C UL listed "A" label (3 hr.); 4'0" x 10'0"; 8'0" x 10'0". Fire rated wood door concealed 4'0" x 8'0" single, 90 min.; 8'0" x 8'0" double egress, 45 min. (specify WDC-90); 20 min. wood door, 8'0" x 9'0", (specify WDC-20 Warnock Hersey label).
