Deadlock Is Comprised of:

• Cylinder of your choice in exterior and interior finish of your choice
• Backset of 2-3/4"
• Two operating keys-keyed different

• Square corner strike with dustbox
• Door thickness of 1-3/4"

Option of split finish available: Lock can be purchased with one finish for the outside section of the lock and another for the inside. 
 If the interior finish is the same as the exterior, select "Same as Exterior Finish". Otherwise, select the finish of your choice.

Functions: 

• 3214-Double Cylinder: Locked or unlocked with key from either side. Bolt automatically deadlocks when fully thrown.
• 3215-Cylinder x Thumbturn: Locked or unlocked by key from outside, or thumbturn from inside. Bolt automatically deadlocks when fully thrown.
• 3220-Thumbturn with Blank Plate (no cylinder): Deadbolt thrown or retracted, from the inside, by thumbturn unit only. Blank plate on outside. Bolt automatically deadlocks when fully thrown.
  This option is not available with Small Format Interchangeable Housing.
   
• 3221-Thumbturn only (no cylinder): Deadbolt thrown or retracted by thumbturn unit only. No outside trim. Bolt automatically deadlocks when fully thrown.
  This option is not available with Small Format Interchangeable Housing.

Standard Door Prep:

• Cylinder hole: 2-1/8" diameter (cross bore)
• Latch hole: 1" diameter (edge bore)

Exposed Trim: Wrought brass, bronze or stainless steel.

Mechanism: Steel, zinc dichromate plated.

Keys: Two operating keys, which are keyed differently, supplied per lock.

• Small Format Interchangeable Core Housing Option: The inner core, containing the keyway, is removable and changeable for security purposes. Say, a department store fires its manager. All the cores could be removed and changed, with new keys distributed to all its employees. This way, there is no worry that the previous manager has access to the offices. As an aside, the cores can than be sent to a locksmith for rekeying so that they could be used again.

Door Thickness:

• 1-3/8"-1-3/4" Thick. Standard.
• 1-3/4" Thick only. 3214 SFIC. Available through our office only, at 845-388-1300.

Backset: 

• 2-3/4". Standard.
• 2-3/8". Optional. Available through our office only, at 845-388-1300.
• 2-3/8"-2-3/4" adjustable backset supplied with 3220 and 3221 (not available for 3214/3215). Optional. Available through our office only, at 845-388-1300.

Latchbolt:

• 1" throw-brass with concealed hardened steel roller to prevent sawing or cutting.
• 1-1/8" x 2-1/4" square corner faceplate.

Strikes: 

• 3930 square corner, 1-1/8" x 2-3/4" with dustbox. Standard.
• 3929 ASA deadbolt strike. Optional. Available through our office only, at 845-388-1300.
