Hager Set 1255 is a Spring Hinge System comprised of two H1250 Single Acting Spring Hinges and one HAB700 Anti-Friction Bearing Hinge. See below for recommended door size and weight. Sized 4-1/2" x 4-1/2" with a choice of finishes.

    Hager Set 1255 Includes:

    1. Two H1250 Spring Hinges: Single acting spring hinges with square corners.
    2. One HAB700 Concealed Anti-Friction Bearing Hinge: This is a full mortised, architectural, three knuckle hinge with concealed anti-friction bearing feature.

    Adjustable Tension: You could set the tension easily, as you need, using a tension bar and set pin (provided). See Installation Instructions for more information. Full spring tension may not be required.

    Strong wind conditions, drafts, carpeting drag, twisted/misaligned frames or weather-stripping on doors may require additional spring hinges.

    Usage on Fire Rated Doors: NFPA 80 has restricted the use of architectural grade spring hinges to fire rated doors of a maximum size of 3'0" x 7'0". Hager spring hinges have been tested and labeled for up to a 4'0" x 8'0" door when a minimum of three springs are used.
