Zero #38 Meeting Stile, Aluminum with Solid Neoprene Insert, Mortised

This Zero #38 mortised aluminum and neoprene meeting stile for double active doors is designed to be used in conjunction with a corresponding pile brush or neoprene astragal (see applications tab). This insert can be installed to extend beyond the door edge to aid in gap closure and lend symmetry to the doorway. Available in various anodized aluminum finishes and is custom cut to size.

This meeting stile has a strong .460” X .380” extruded aluminum base which supports a high quality, solid neoprene insert. It is designed to be used in conjunction with a corresponding pile brush or neoprene astragal (see applications tab). The adjustable screw permits it to be installed to extend beyond the door edge to aid in gap closure when clearance of the doors is too large. This prevents sound from leaking in or out of a room, it provides a weather seal, ensures privacy, and minimizes the passage of light between the doors. It also lends symmetry to the doorway by making the doors look the same.

Its mortised application, allows the door to maintain a clean, unobtrusive appearance, making it an optimal choice for high-end designer doors and luxury hotels and condos. Recommended installation space is .560” depth and .380” width.

Anodizing is an electrolytic process that applies a corrosion-resistant coating to the aluminum for longer wear and color maintenance. This product has been anodized to 204 (dipped four times).

Installation screws provided. Screws are colored to blend unobtrusively into casing.
