Aluminum and Solid Wood Pocket Frame Kit conceals the sliding door within a pocket in the wall when door is open. For doors up to 175 lbs each and measuring 1 3/8” thick, with additional sizes and options available through our office. ADA Approved.

    Key Product Features:

    •  Heavy duty hardware supports doors up to 175 lbs. 

      • Standard kit is for 1-3/8” door. For 1-3/4” door, MUST use PF134KIT (see Customization Tab Below)

    •  Door actuation requires less than 5 lbs. of horizontal force, meeting ADA requirements

    •  Extruded aluminum track

    •  Solid wood studs encased in extruded aluminum reduces corrosion and minimizes bowing effects

      • Chrome plated steel hangers are corrosion resistant and no maintenance is required

    Standard Kit Sizes: 2x4 with 3.5" solid wood stud, 2x6 with 5.5" solid wood stud and 2x6 with full 6" net stud. 

    *Pocket Frame Conversion Kit: Standard kit is designed for 1-3/8" Doors. Pocket frame conversation kit can be used to convert to 1-3/4" thick doors. Compatible ONLY for 2x4 stud assembly.

    Materials: Aluminum track, aluminum cased solid wood studs, and chrome plated steel hangers.

    1) PF134KIT: MUST use to allow pocket frame kit compatible with 1-3/4” thick doors.

    2) PFAS88: An extra pair of 88" center studs with floor cleat for 84" (7ft.) tall doors, for doors over 3' wide.

    3) PFAS100: An extra pair of 100" center studs with floor cleat for 96" (8ft.) tall doors, for doors over 3' wide.
