Rockwood's 557 Lever Extension Flush Bolt with a standard face plate joined by the Bottom Fire Bolt for Metal Doors, is designed to hold your door in place when the lever is manually extended. This product is suitable for the top or the bottom of the door, and is mainly used for hollow metal doors. Bottom Fire Bolt is activated when temperatures reach 230°F. Bolt is made of brass and finished in Satin Chrome. This 557 Flush Bolt has  a 12" rod length, and optional bolt head lengths, see options below.

    Rockwood's 557 lever extension flush bolts are architectural grade products and are available in many finishes and rod lenghts.

    Installation: This product is difficult to install on your own from start to finish. The most difficult part is mortising the door in preparation for installation. The best option is to have the door factory prepare the door specifically for the lever extension bolt you want to mount to the door.
     Bottom Fire Bolt is installed to the bottom portion of the door. See product data tab for installation instructions    .
