This model is a two point deadbolt that provides maximum security for double wood doors. A single turn of a key simultaneously drops a stainless steel hexbolt into the threshold and pivots the MS bolt into the opposite leaf. The product includes the lock body only; cylinder and/or thumbturn need to be purchased separately. Available in a choice of cylinder heights and finishes, choose from the dropdowns below.

    This two point deadbolt provides maximum security for double wood doors.

    Please note, threshold strike plate, cylinder and/or thumbturn are not included with this product and are available for purchase separately.

    Cylinder Backset: Distance from the edge of the lock to the center of the cylinder hole.

    Cylinder Height: Distance from the bottom of the door to the center of the cylinder hole.

    Face Plate: Flat, two piece plate extends to the bottom of the door.

    MS Bolt: Maximum security bolt that gets locked into the opposite leaf.

    Hexbolt: Hexagon shaped bolt that gets locked into the threshold.

    Strike: 4001-011 aluminum strike plate with steel plated dust box provided for opposite leaf. The dust box prevents chips, sawdust and other debris from entering the strike. Threshold bolt strike can be 1/2" (12.7 mm) diameter hole in metal threshold or, if threshold is wood, 4005 Strike is available separately.

    Operation: 360° turn of the key or thumbturn projects the counterbalanced bolt into the opposite door and drops the bolt into the threshold. The key can be removed only when the bolts are in a positively locked or unlocked position. The lock accepts any standard 1" (25.4 mm) length, 1-5/32" (29.4 mm) diameter mortise cylinder with MS® cam, available separately. The lock accepts a cylinder from either or both sides.
