Adams Rite Paddle Trim 4591-11, Limited Touch, For Adams Rite MS+1890 and 2190 Series Deadlocks

Adams Rite offers products that provide hygienic solutions for hands-free and limited touch access and egress. This push / pull paddle trim is compatible with Adams Rite MS+1890 Deadlock/Deadlatch and 2190 Series Deadbolt/Deadlatch to provide compliance with single motion to egress requirements.

Product Note: The 4781 Deadlatch uses a modified but matching version of the 4591 Paddle.

Escutcheons: Secured to door stile with special binder posts that extend into the escutcheon to rigidly resist torque loads in any direction.

Compatibility: MS+1890 Deadlock/Deadlatch and 2190 Series Deadbolt/Deadlatch

Operation: An ergonomic alternative to knob or lever handles. Makes opening a latched door as natural as opening an unlatched one – just push or pull in the direction in which the door swings. 

This paddle is available in a choice of four configurations:

• Pull to Left: outside of left hand reverse door or inside of right hand
• Push to Left: outside of left hand door or inside of right hand reverse
• Pull to Right: outside of right hand reverse door or inside of left hand
• Push to Right: outside of right hand door or inside of left hand reverse

Hands-Free Solution: This deadlatch paddle allows doors to be opened with a push of the hip or pull of the arm for hands-free and limited touch access and egress. The design reduces unsafe catchpoints on clothing and the ability to control the door with limited contact. The paddle is suitable for healthcare facilities or any other door opening where reducing the transmission of germs is essential to public safety.

• Monitor Switches: Paddle with / without latch drive mechanism, but with switch that can be wired to make or break a low voltage circuit, for push paddles only.
• Paddle Dogging: Hex key is turned in escutcheon to hold the paddle down, leaving the door free swinging, for push paddles only.
