    Rim Crossbar Exit Device for high traffic applications.

    Product Options:

    Applications: Single point, rim-type latch with traditional crossbar design.

    Handing: Specify Right Hand Reverse (RHR) or Left Hand Reverse (LHR). To determine door handing see our How To Determine Door Handing and Swing. 

    Finishes: Available in finishes; US4, US10, SP313, US32D, US26D, US3, US26, US32.

    XX-R Materials:

    • Arms- Made with forged brass, aluminum and investment cast stainless steel.
    • Crossbars- 1" O.D., brass, bronze and stainless steel. Reinforced crossbars available.
    • Latch bolt - Stainless Steel, 3/4" throw.
    • Center case and working parts- XX-R Center case is pressure die cast aluminum with heavy wrought, forged, investment cast and sintered metal parts. F-XX-R - Center case is investment cast stainless steel  

    Strikes: F570 adjustable strike standard. 565, 571, 571A, 5579 and F490 strikes are available through our office.

    Dogging Feature: 1/2" turn hex dogging standard. No threaded parts to wear out. Rim Cylinder supplied (at additional cost) for functions requiring cylinder dogging.

    Door Thickness: 1 3/4" thick doors, wood or metal. Specify thickness in order comments if other than 1 3/4".

    Dimensions: For doors up to 4'0" Wide and 1-3/4" Thick full flush with 5/8" high frame stop unless specified otherwise. Custom widths available for doors exceeding 4'0" or narrow stile aluminum and glass doors.

    Mounting Height: 40 1/4" from centerline to finished floor and 7'0" standard door height.

    Projections: 5" maximum, 4" dogged.

    Stock Sizes: 4'0" standard.

    Electric Function: Can be interfaced with building security systems. Lock/unlock and security monitoring available.

    Fasteners: All mounting screws are concealed. Sheet metal screws standard. Machine screws are available. When using device with hollow core wood, composite or light gauge hollow metal doors, sex bolts are available.

    Certifications: Meets ANSI A156.3 Grade 1 standard. F-XX-R carries "A" label (3 hr. )for; 4'0" x 8'0"; 8'0" x 8'0" dimensions. "B" label (1 1/2 hr. ) for 8'0" x 8'0" dimensions with KRF - 4023 mullion.
