This Legacy #50777 Door Gasket is fitted with a double silicone seal and an interior silicone sponge for that extra protection, providing you with a top quality seal. It is soundproof and is easily adjustable to conform to the natural shifting of doors. Aluminum casing is available in three finishes with options of cut edge.

    This Door Gasket has a heavy duty casing and is fitted with two silicone bulbs, to give you one of the strongest and consistent seals we provide. Available in three anodized finishes and is custom cut to size. See below for key features:

    Seal: Gasket is fitted with a double high quality silicone bulb seal. One bulb features an extruded bulb finger (EBF). The EBF design aids in sealing gaps when the door is misaligned due to poor installation or natural warping. The material is water and weatherproof and remains flexible in extreme weather conditions, ensuring a constant seal through many usages. The interior is filled with sponge for that extra protection.

    Casing: Casing is made of high quality anodized aluminum that will last through much usage. This gasket can be applied as a door stop (and replace your stop molding) or onto an existing stop. We recommend using it as a door stop itself. As a door stop it will run along the length of your door frame to the bottom of your door and will be compatible with a Surface Mounted Automatic Door Bottom. Casing has dimensions of 1.25" Wide x .914" High.

    Adjustable: As doors tend to shift and warp over time it is inevitable that eventually your gasket will lose its effectiveness and provide a compromised seal between the gasket and the door. This gasket can be easily adjusted with a simple twist of a screwdriver, allowing you to maintain a constant tight seal and ensure protection against drafts, dust, insects, fumes, light and water from entering through your doorway. It has an adjustable range of .3 inches.

    Cover Plate: A Stainless Steel cover plate with PSA Self-Adhesive Backing can be purchased. The cover plate is great for protecting your door hardware or for aesthetic purposes. Additionally, Stainless Steel is an easy maintenance material which is great for Commercial Kitchens, Cleanrooms or any area where a sterile environment needs to be maintained.     This product can be applied with a door closer or a strike plate when applied with our specialized Door Closer or Strike Plate Mounting Bracket.
