This Overlapping Astragal is surface applied to the face of a door to cover the gap between two doors. The metal strip is 2" x .125" and is designed for Single Active Doors in a Double Door Set. Available in Clear anodized aluminum, Galvannealed Steel or Stainless Steel. Provided with holes and fasteners.

This high quality, Overlapping Astragal is surface applied to the face of the door to seal the gap between a pair of double doors and prevent infiltration of dust, drafts, light, smoke, fire, and moisture. The astragal will not impede on proper operation of the door.

Dimensions: Strip has a width of 2" with a thickness of .125" to prevent warping and bending, even through extended use. This astragal is designed for high frequency usage and will continuously ensure superior performance.

Compliance: Rated for fire protection. When installing pairs of fire doors care must be taken to maintain the requirements of NFPA 80.

Installation Guide and screws provided. Standard supplied fastener sheet metal screws.
