Pemko #357xS88 Meeting Stile System, 2" Steel Strip with .5" Silicone Bulb and Thru-Bolts

This Overlapping Meeting Stile System is surface applied to the face of a double door to cover the gap between two doors. The metal strip is 2" x .125" and can be applied with an optional Silicone Teardrop Weatherstrip for better sealing properties. It is designed for Single Active Doors in a Double Door Set. Available in Steel Prime or Stainless Steel, with a choice of fasteners, and is custom cut to size.

This high quality, Overlapping Meeting Stile System is surface applied to the face of the door to seal the gap between a pair of double doors and prevent infiltration of dust, drafts, light, smoke, fire, and moisture.

Design: Overlapping Astragal is applied to the face of the active door and sits over the gap to rest on the inactive door. For greater sealing properties, it can optionally be applied with an Adhesive Silicone Teardrop Weatherstrip. The astragal will not impede on proper operation of the door.

Dimensions: Strip has a width of 2" with a thickness of .125" to prevent warping and bending, even through extended use. The weatherstripping seal has a width of .5" and a height of .25". This astragal system is designed for high frequency usage and will continuously ensure superior performance.

Fasteners: Meeting Stile System can be purchased with a choice of Standard #10 x 1" Truss Head SMS Fasteners, 1⁄4"- 20 Machine Screws and Thru-Bolts Thru-Bolts or No Drilling options. Fees are included in the pricing above.

Compliance: Smoke, Fire, and Air Infiltration Rated. When installing pairs of fire doors care must be taken to maintain the requirements of NFPA 80.
