When a fire system alarm situation occurs, the PDB-1R uses an end-of-line resistor to activate a form "C" contact. The unit switches the output from "Normally On" to "Normally Off" in response to the trigger. Other triggered reactions include input triggers that latch until they are reset, ground fault triggers, and status feedback to fire control or notification systems.
