This Zero #111FS aluminum door shoe is a simple and convenient way to restore lost ratings on a fire rated door. It is filled with an insert of Zero's INTUMET™ Technology for maximum fire and smoke proofing. Compatible with 1.75" width doors and is custom cut to size.

    The small clearance allowance at the bottom of fire rated doors do not leave much room for error. Fire ratings lost through installation or alignment problems can be restored with this INTUMET™ solution, without the cost of structural changes or door replacement. This aluminum door shoe is filled with INTUMET™ intumescent material for maximum fire and smoke protection.

    The door shoe casing is made of high quality .062" thick aluminum. It is compatible with 1.75" doors and fill .25" under the door. The two sides extend upward 1.25" on both sides. For smallest possible door to floor surface gap, a Doorway Saddle is recommended.

    Door Bottom is fitted with FS3003 INTUMET™ material. For more information, see Understanding Intumescent Fire Stop Material.
