This fixed height threshold for outswing doors has a wood base with an aluminum slope, making this is a low-maintenance sill with no exposed wood. The high dam design restricts water intrusion utilizing a V-shaped, Kerf-in Foam seal (see product specs) where the bottom of the door meets the threshold. This foam seal eliminates the need for door sweeps or door shoes.

Aluminum slope provides superior stability and long-lasting reliability. Sloped aluminum extrusion is grooved to prevent slipping.

Key Features of this Product:

Dimensions: 1.00” in height and 4.625” in width. Slope has a 5˚ bevel.

Compatibility: Residential Sills are designed specifically for the pre-hung door market. Can be used for standard door applications as well.

Installation: Threshold is furnished un-drilled and without screws or nails. If threshold is being drilled into concrete, an Expansion Anchor is recommended.

Available Lengths: This product can be custom cut to size.

I needed a custom sized threshold and TH was able to deliver. While the Pemko threshold is well made, I am disappointed, however, with their response to sending me the wrong item. My order clearly stated "dark bronze", but they sent me cast aluminum. TH Customer Service addressed the issue promptly, but Pemko did not expedite the replacement. I had to work around not having the proper threshold for the job. Not sure if TH could have "pushed" Pemko for a faster response given it was Pemko's mistake to begin with.

Only had to replace my 72" threshold on my lanai double door. Original one was the aluminum colored one and this one matched my front door. Everything now matches and looks great.
