Pemko #2005P Latching Panic Exit Threshold, 5" Aluminum or Bronze with Brush Seal, .5" H

This Latching Panic Exit Saddle is designed to be used with a surface applied vertical rod exit device and as a door stop with brush seal at the bottom of doors. The seal is made of high quality fibers that will ensure long-lasting usage. It is available in Aluminum or Bronze and comes in a few Anodized Finishes. It is custom cut to size.

Threshold design is compatible with a surface applied vertical rod exit device.

Available Seals: It can be purchased fitted with a tight row of nylon filament. The high quality bristles will remain flexible, even in temperatures as low as -40º and +400º, making it ideal for an external door.

Finishes: Available in three aluminum variations and bronze mill finish (Oil rubbed bronze can also be purchased through our office for an additional 40% of standard bronze pricing)

A Note on Finishes: Aluminum Mill Finish is plain smooth metal as it comes from the mill, without a coating. Bronze is a mill finish, sometimes referred to as Architectural Bronze. It is a solid bronze piece, which increases longevity and aesthetics, thus the large difference in price. It gets darker in color in time when exposed to the environment. Anodizing is an electrolytic process that applies a corrosion-resistant coating to the aluminum for longer wear and color maintenance.

Installation: Installation instructions and screws provided. Screws are colored to coordinate with saddle. If the threshold is being drilled into concrete, an Expansion Anchor is recommended.

Drilling: Threshold is supplied drilled for easy installation
