Zero #55-555 Meeting Stile, Aluminum with Adjustable Silicone Double-Lip Seal

This Zero #55-555 aluminum meeting stile effectively seals the gap between a pair of doors from infiltration of sound, light, drafts and insects. It consists of a solid silicone double-lip seal with a complementary solid insert. An adjusting screw enables easy extension of the seal, and it is designed to be surface mounted on a pair of double active doors. Available in choice of finishes and is custom cut to size.

This meeting stile has a strong 1” wide aluminum casing housing a high quality, self-extinguishing, solid silicone seal with a double-lip design. This silicone seal projects out and compresses against a complementary solid insert and serves as an astragal between double active doors. An adjusting screw and stainless steel spring permits the seal to be easily adjusted. This feature effectively closes clearance gaps of varying sizes which result from natural warping or inevitable shifting of the doors. This greatly reduces sound from leaking in or out of the room, provides a weather seal, and minimizes the passage of light between the doors.

Installation screws provided, screws are colored to blend unobtrusively into casing. The screw is easily adjustable with a screwdriver.
