    This aluminum and pile brush meeting stile can be surface mounted or mortised to one or both faces of a pair of double doors. Closing the gap between doors reduces energy waste and halts the passage of drafts, dirt, insects, light, and sound past your doors.

    Dimensions: Meeting Stile has a width of .406”. Aluminum housing measures .156” and the pile brush has a depth of .1875” (see product specs). For surface mounted application, the meeting stile will extend .344” away from the door.  For a mortised application, a .156” mortise can be carved in the door for the aluminum housing.

    Ratings: This meeting stile if fire and smoke rated. Meeting Stiles with a fire rating may be mounted on pairs of doors that have a gap that meets the requirements of NFPA 80, 2-5.4.

    Note: These meeting stile seals do not work well on beveled-edge pairs of doors.

    Installation Guide and screws provided. Screws are colored to coordinate with casing.
