This surface mounted, 'T' shaped meeting stile for single active doors effectively seals the gap between a pair of doors from the infiltration of smoke, sound, light, drafts and insects through the compression of the seal against the inactive door. Available with a choice of pile brush, a silicone, or an eco-V seal, in various aluminum or bronze finishes to match room décor and is custom cut to size.

    This surface mounted meeting stile for single active double doors seals the gap between a pair of doors from the infiltration of fire, smoke, sound, light, drafts and insects.  When closed, the seal compresses against the inactive door.

    Design: This meeting stile is designed to be applied to a Single Active Door in a pair of double doors. Meeting Stile is ‘T’ shaped, with the leg of the ‘T’ being screwed into the side of the active door between the two doors with seal extending over the inactive door (see product specs). This creates a continuous seal that will not impede on proper operation of the doors.

    Seal: This meeting stile has three seal options; Pile brush, silicone, and Eco-V (vinyl). Pile brush has bristles which conform well to surface irregularities and remain flexible in all weather conditions to ensure constant smooth usage. Silicone is nonreactive, stable, and resistant to extreme environments and temperatures. Eco-V is a newer, greener, and more environmentally friendly version of PVC Vinyl. It surpasses the quality and durability of traditional vinyl gasketing, resulting in a longer service life and less need for replacement.

    Installation instructions and screws provided. Screws are colored to blend unobtrusively into casing.
