This surface mounted head and jamb protection is fitted with an EPDM Ring Seal which compresses against the door to form a reliable protection. This gasketing weatherstrip is designed to seal gaps up to 1/16", though it can seal up to the depth of its seal. Casing is available in Clear Anodized Aluminum Finish. Includes 1 pc 36" and 2 pcs 84".

    This gasketing weatherstrip is applied along the header and jamb of a door frame to seal the gaps along the perimeter of the door. It is fitted with a high quality EPDM bulb seal which prevents infiltration of fire, smoke, sound, drafts and light. Casing is available in Clear Anodized Aluminum Finish. Includes 1 pc 36" and 2 pcs 84".

    Key Features of this Product Include:

    Seal: Made of EPDM which is comparable to Sponge Neoprene, but is more eco-friendly and delivers overall better performance. Specifically, it has great sound control properties and is resistant to solvents.

    Gasket is designed to seal gaps of 1/16", however it can seal up the depth of its seal.

    Casing: The gasketing seal is housed in a high quality aluminum anodized casing which is surface mounted to the stop of the door. The casing is punched with elongated slots which allow for easy adjustments while installing. Casing has dimensions of 1" x .1875".

    Compliance: This door gasket is rated for Fire, Smoke and Air Infiltration, is BHMA Certified and UL Listed and is GreenGuard Gold compliant, too. See Product Specs tab for more information.

    Installation: Installation guide and screws are provided. Screws are colored to coordinate with casing.
