    This aluminum and pile brush meeting stile can be surface mounted or mortised to one or both faces of a pair of double doors. Closing the gap between doors reduces energy waste and halts the passage of drafts, dirt, insects, light, and sound past your doors.  The mortised aluminum housing gives the door a clean, neat appearance.

    Ratings: This meeting stile if fire and smoke rated. Meeting Stiles with a fire rating may be mounted on pairs of doors that have a gap that meets the requirements of NFPA 80, 2-5.4.

    Dimensions: Meeting Stile has a width of .406”. Aluminum housing measures .156” and the pile brush has a depth of .1875” (see product specs). For surface mounted application, the meeting stile will extend .344” away from the door and is 84" long. For a mortised application, a .156” mortise can be carved in the door for the aluminum housing. Note: These meeting stile seals do not work well on beveled-edge pairs of doors.

    Installation Guide and screws provided. Screws are colored to coordinate with casing.
