The fully mortised aspect of this automatic door bottom is great for high end designer doors and luxury hotels and condo units that prefer their doors retain their clean, unobtrusive look.

Door Compatibility: Designed for hollow metal doors with minimum 1.5" wide cavity.

Seal: Fitted with two neoprene bulb seals that can seal gaps up to .5"

FLO Seal Option: FLO Seal is notched to allow for air circulation, but prevents transfer of light. This option is great for hotels and other environment where privacy must be maintained while allowing air circulation between rooms.

Available Finishes: Aluminum Mill Finish

How it Works
How it Works: Automatic Door Bottoms utilize a concealed flat spring mechanism and plunger. When the door is closed, a brass plunger is compressed to automatically lower the seal, starting from the hinge side first. This motion ensures a smooth usage even on an uneven surface and prevents drag. The seal is automatically raised upon opening.
